Not Me Wordless Wednesday

(did not...read: might have, probably...most certainly did. "Not me"...read: ok, so it was.)

*I did not have one too many (okay, maybe two, or three... ) glasses of wine while watching my favorite TV shows Thursday night. I did not then completely crash into bed that night, fast and deep asleep within seconds. I most definitely did not sleep through the crying and wailing coming through the baby monitor at 3am... and it did not wake up my poor husband who does not have to be up at 5am. He did not try and rouse me from my wine induced sleep, and I definitely did not mumble something incoherently about "turning off the alarm". He did not then have to get out of bed and tend to the child... bringing him back to our bed to calm him down, and then putting him back into his own bed. I did not sleep through all of this. Of course, I remembered ALL of this the next day.... ummm no, not really. NOT ME!

*I did not leave my son unattended to climb up 14 cement stairs by himself, while I stood at the top pretending to leave in order to get him to hurry up. I was not texting my husband at the same time. I did not turn around and I did not watch my son lose his balance and tumble/roll/fall down at least 10 of the stairs. I did not run, swearing, trying to stop the awfulness. He is a resilient boy, but I am not still shaking. NOT ME!

*I did not mistake my husbands coffee cup for my own and take a big gulp. I did not instinctively spit the gulp back into the cup after realizing my mistake. His coffee is full of sugar, and tastes disgusting. I did not forget to dump said cup of coffee, and I most certainly did not forget to warn him of my addition to his coffee. It did not take me till later in the day to realize my mistake when I was clearing the table and saw the empty cup. Ooops. NOT ME!

BAH!!!

I have been totally slacking in the blog department. Life has been too busy lately...it feels like my moments on the computer are few and far between. I wish there was some crazy technology that connected my computer to my thoughts... then I could just 'think' my amazing blog entries.

I have a Not Me Monday in the works.... It might just be a Tuesday or Wednesday edition.

Someone can please make it stop snowing now.

No, seriously.

Flashback Fridays!!!

11.19.95

Dear Diary,

Well I just got off the phone with *Nicole. I sure as heck miss her! She told me that this Christmas she is going to visit *Sam in Saskatchewan. I suggested that I could come along. She said that would be awesome! I told my mom and she gave me that "We'll talk about it later" look. Its only app. $100 from Van. to Sas. I sure hope I can go. It would be totaly awesome to go see *Sam.
Well *Norman's game was last night. It was pretty cool. The Harlem Crowns were pretty funny. The Crowns won (obviously:). One of the guys (Crowns) came up to me while I was eating my Ice Cream Sandwich and put it in my hand. He then closed my hand real hard. And it squished everywhere. It was gross! Then after the game *Larry was fooling around with *Jerry. So I walked over and pulled them apart and pushed *Larry, saying "You leave my bro alone." I pushed him again and asked him if he wanted to fight. So I started to playfully punch him and pretended to slap him. Then my dad said it was time to go, so I pushed him one last time and started to walk away. Then another guy went over to *Larry and asked him why he was picking on girls. I turned around and smiled. *Larry then yelled, "You better smile!" So I stuck my nose way in the air and my butt out to China and walked away. It was pretty funny.
*Janie says that *Norman's face looks like a baboon's butt! :) Because his sideburns are so close to his cheeks that is looks like the shaved part on a baboons butt. Its sorta an inside joke.
I spent the night at *Angie's on Thurs. (oh joy:) thinking that *Amy was going to be there, but she wasn't. It was ok. We watched this movie called "A Pyromaniac's Love Story". Then on Friday, *Kerry spent the night. We had a lot of fun. She's quite cool. :)
Well, I have to study for a Socials exam on Tuesday. So I better go. Peace! :)

Fantasy Monday

Okay, so because I am the most perfect mom ever and my child is golden... I don't have really any Not Me Monday stories this week. But Monday does seem to hold a lot of fantasies... real hopes and dreams that are full of anything but my child's screams because he dropped the smallest crumb of his cookie in the grocery store, and I refused to pick it up.
If I had all the power, money, and time in the world and didn't care about philanthropy... this would be my Fantasy Monday.

*I would wake up in the most luxurious pent-house suite of some fabulous, over priced hotel. The only sound I would hear would be my eyes opening.

*I would watch morning TV (anything but Treehouse) with my perfect cup of coffee. Hand-ground by my own personal Starbucks Barista. Who would be gorgeous, of course.

*Next would be breakfast, the most delicious meal that would be completely fat and calorie free. Yet my amazing personal chefs would make it taste like it was in the thousands.

*I would then dress in head to toe Lululemon, and proceed to my personal gym with my very gorgeous personal trainer. Who would tell me that I really didn't need to work out... because I was so fabulous and my buns were definitely made of steel.

*Next would be my spa hour... or hours. Everything from massage, to nails, to hair... and of course... it would still be... SILENT. Maybe some soft, soothing, relaxing music in the background. Something that sounded like the beach.

*Oooooh, the beach. After I was looking all fabulous from my spa treatments, I would hop on my exquisite private jet, watch some hilarious movie that I'd been dying to see, and land in record time at my private, exclusive island. Of course with a Cosmo in hand.

*After tanning and swimming with Dolphins... my very bestest gals would meet me at my 10 star restaurant where we would eat another amazing meal. (This one would have a few calories.. but it wouldn't matter because we all have super high metabolisms... and I did swim with the Dolphins.) Then maybe we would see a show, or a play... or perhaps a quick jet over to the Eiffel tower for a fabulous glass of Dom Perignon.

*To end my evening, perhaps I would have a long bubble bath with a book. Or maybe watch a little TV... my choice of show. Or maybe I would go online and see all the fabulous designer outfits my personal shopper (who is gorgeous, of course) had emailed to me... just to get my final approval. Then I would peacefully fall asleep, snuggled in on my million thread count sheets... thinking of the fabulous, perfect, fantasy day... and the one that I would have tomorrow.
